Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry is in the NBA Finals for the first time in his career, but don't think for a second that the pressure of playing on the game's biggest stage is getting to him:

“It's basketball. Ain't no pressure. It's fun. This is amazing,” said Lowry, according to Blake Murphy of The Athletic.

Through 18 playoff games this spring, Lowry is averaging 14.7 points, 6.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals over 37.3 minutes per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the floor, 35.5 percent from 3-point range and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.

During the regular season, Lowry appeared in 65 contests and registered 14.2 points, 8.7 assists, 4.8 boards and 1.4 steals a night while making 41.1 percent of his field goal attempts, 34.7 percent of his long-distance tries and 83.0 percent of his foul shots.

The 2018-19 campaign has been one of the more trying season's of Lowry's seven-year tenure with the Raptors, as he battled back issues throughout the season and had what was easily his worst statistical season since his first year in Toronto.

However, the 33-year-old has battled, and in the playoffs, while his numbers have not been great, he has been outstanding defensively and has made a vast number of gritty hustle plays that have helped the Raptors get to where they are now.

Lowry, who played his collegiate basketball at Villanova, was originally selected by the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round (24th pick overall) of the 2006 NBA Draft.

He spent the first two and a half years of his career with the Grizzlies before being traded to the Houston Rockets midway through the 2008-09 campaign. Lowry then resided in Houston for three and a half seasons before signing with Toronto.
