With Kawhi Leonard gone, Kyle Lowry thinks Pascal Siakam will be the Toronto Raptors' “go-to guy” this season.

Siakam won the 2019 Most Improved Player of the Year Award and will have the ball in his hands more often this season with the departure of Leonard.

Last season, Siakam averaged 16.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists for the Raptors while shooting 54.9 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from beyond the arc and 78.5 percent from the free-throw line.

During the 2019 playoffs, Siakam put up 19.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists. The Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals in six games. Siakam scored 32 points in Game 1 while shooting an impressive 14-of-17 from the floor.

Lowry will also see his usage rate go up this season. The All-Star guard is looking forward to being the underdog again. Lowry averaged 14.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 8.7 assists during the 2018-19 regular-season. He put up 15.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6.6 assists in the playoffs.

The Raptors will be a competitive team this season with Lowry, Siakam, Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka, Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby leading the charge. All the guys on the roster are eager to show the basketball world that the team wasn't just centered around Leonard and his greatness.
