Kyle Lowry isn't sure if he's spoken to Kawhi Leonard yet. That may sound strange, but he revealed that information in a hilarious exchange with reporters at Team USA minicamp on Friday.

Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports documented the exchange.

Lowry isn't taking the bait from reporters. Although the questions regarding the DeMar DeRozan-Kawhi Leonard trade aren't going away anytime soon, Lowry continues to drag his feet when reporters ask these questions.

It's evident that Lowry is still uncomfortable discussing the trade of his close friend DeRozan. He's forced to walk a fine line between not insulting his former teammate and not insulting his new teammate. Additionally, Lowry doesn't want to say anything bad about the franchise that employs him even if he wasn't 100 percent happy with the way things were handled by management.

Lowry and Leonard will get a chance to speak to one another sometime in the near future. But the thing is, Kawhi doesn't talk much. The notoriously quiet superstar has never been an outgoing star with a larger than life personality. He's much more comfortable with his mouth shut and the spotlight on someone else.

Leonard is skipping Team USA minicamp this summer to focus on his transition to Toronto. Therefore, he's not available to the media to answer any questions on his new home and his new teammates.

Unfortunately for Lowry, the onus now falls on him. The DeRozan-Leonard trade is one of the most compelling stories of the offseason and at least until the season begins, the reporters will continue to interrogate Lowry about the situation.
