Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry was understandably not in a jovial mood following his team's frustrating Game 7 defeat at the hands of the Boston Celtics on Friday.

In his post-game presser, Lowry was asked about his overall thoughts on the NBA's bubble initiative, to which the veteran had some NSFW parting words:

“It was challenging. It was well put together. We used our platform for our voices to be heard on social injustices,” Lowry said, via Ben Golliver of the Washington Post. “The Bubble was a success. Time to leave this motherf—-er.”

The profanity was clearly just an expression from Lowry, and he is by no means devaluing the success of the bubble. Lowry did admit that it was not the easiest of experiences, but he also shared how delighted he is that the players were able to use this as an avenue to carry on with the fight against social injustice.

Nonetheless, it cannot be denied that Lowry is a picture of disappointment here. The Raptors were so close to booking their place to a second consecutive trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, but in the end, they came up short. The fact that Toronto forced a Game 7 after going 0-2 down to open the series is an impressive feat in itself, but ultimately only accentuates the Raptors' frustrations.

Lowry and company will now be heading home, and are set to face quite an intriguing offseason. There are a couple of key guys on the roster — Lowry himself included — that will be entering contract talks in the coming weeks, and how the Raptors front office handle negotiations this offseason will have a significant impact on this team moving forward.
