Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri spoke glowingly about point guard Kyle Lowry on Thursday during his end-of-the-season press conference with reporters.

Not only did Ujiri say he believes Lowry will make the Hall of Fame one day, but the Raptors exec also hinted there could be a Kyle Lowry statue outside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto once Lowry retires from the NBA:

After winning the 2019 championship over the Golden State Warriors in six games with the help of Kawhi Leonard, Lowry is universally recognized as the greatest player in Raptors franchise history.

Since getting traded to the Raptors from the Houston Rockets, Lowry has made six All-Star teams and broken plenty of Toronto records. He was also an All-NBA player in 2016.

In 555 regular-season games with the Raptors, Lowry has career averages of 17.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 7.1 assists. His game isn't always pretty, as Lowry tends to flop a lot. However, there's no denying his impact on winning.

Toronto lost to the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2020 playoffs at Walt Disney World in seven games. Lowry has one year left on his contract after signing a one-year extension with the Raptors before the start of the 2019-20 season. He's set to make $30 million in 2020-21.

Masai Ujiri has some tough decisions to make this offseason, as Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka and Fred VanVleet all become unrestricted free agents. It's going to be interesting to see what Ujiri decides to do.
