Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam showed a lot of love to teammate Kyle Lowry, saying that the superstar guard is the type of player you want to have on your team.

Siakam, who is playing in his third season in the NBA, said that Lowry is a huge part of the team because he cares about his teammate. The 25-year-old budding superstar added that he has never played with a teammate like Lowry before he entered the big league.

“He's one of the most amazing teammates I've ever had,” Siakam said of Lowry on the latest Woj Pod with Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. “He cares about everyone. He's like a big brother… he is the teammate you want to have.”

Lowry is considered as one of the best point guard in the league. The 33-year-old has also become a better passer this season, as he is averaging a career-high 8.7 dimes per game. His previous career-best average in assist is 7.4 dimes during the 2013-14 NBA season. He is also known for being vocal on and off the court.

Siakam is benefiting from Lowry's improved passing and leadership, as he is also having the best season of his young NBA career.

The former New Mexico State standout is averaging career-highs 17.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. He is also shooting 54.6 percent from the field in 32 minutes per game.

Siakam is expected to become an important factor for the Raptors in the upcoming playoffs.

The Raptors are currently second in the Eastern Conference standings with their 56-23 record.
