The Cleveland Cavaliers found themselves in deep trouble after they experienced their second consecutive loss this season at the hands of the Toronto Raptors in blowout fashion. This came as a big surprise as the Cavs battled out a team that is missing its key players.

Even without Kyle Lowery and Serge Ibaka, the Raptors devoured the Cavs, 133-39. Lowry was out due to a tailbone injury, while Ibaka was suspended after an altercation with the Miami Heat's James Johnson.

Despite this handicap, the Raptors still showcased their prowess in finding ways to get around the Cavs defense. In fact, DeMar DeRozan only scored two points in the game’s first half. However, it seemed that his unproductive period did not affect the team by any means as the Raptors held a 25-point lead by the end of the first half.

The Raptors never lost control of the game, not by a bit, and their mastery led to a franchise record in total points after four quarters.

Isaiah Thomas struggled, as with J.R. Smith, Jae Crowder, and LeBron James, who all showed their sloppiness in the paint and on the perimeter. Even Kevin Love failed to make a significant contribution to Tyronn Lue’s arsenal.

The Raptors’ starting center in Jonas Valanciunas did most of the damage to begin the game, while their youngsters, led by Fred VanVleet, were eating up their opponents whole. This game certainly brings a tremendous amount of confidence to Toronto's side for defeating a possible late-round opponent come postseason, sans two of their bigger pieces in Lowry and Ibaka.
