The status of Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson will have a dramatic impact on Game 3 of the NBA Finals, as Thompson is dealing with a hamstring injury and is listed as a game-time decision against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.

However, Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless does not think Thompson will even matter, as he sees the Raptors taking a 2-1 series lead regardless of whether or not Thompson plays:

Thompson played a pivotal role in the Warriors' Game 2 win on Sunday evening, as he led Golden State with 25 points and went 10-of-17 from the floor before exiting the game with a hamstring issue in the fourth quarter.

The 29-year-old also scored 21 points in Golden State's Game 1 loss last week.

For the first time since 2016, the Warriors genuinely seem to be in danger of losing the finals, as the Kawhi Leonard-led Raptors are certainly stronger than either of the two Cleveland Cavaliers teams Golden State faced in 2017 and 2018, not to mention the fact that the Dubs are clearly more vulnerable this time around.

The Warriors are already without Kevin Durant, who is nursing a calf injury and is expected back at some point in this series. Plus, Golden State will be sans big man Kevon Looney for the remainder of the series, as he suffered a broken collarbone in Game 2.

This also marks the first time over these last five seasons that the Warriors have not held home-court advantage in the finals.

The series will shift to Oracle Arena for Game 3 on Wednesday night.
