When it comes to the Toronto Raptors (51-17) this season, they simply get the job done against teams that they are supposed to beat.

As pointed out by Raptors beat reporter Josh Lewenberg of TSN, Toronto is an NBA-best 30-2 against teams that are currently below .500 and has not lost a single game at home to any of those teams.

Who was the last team with a record below .500 to beat the Raptors? It was none other than the opponent Toronto will be hosting later tonight: the Dallas Mavericks (22-46), who upset the Raptors 98-93 back on Dec. 26 at American Airlines Center.

Last night, the Raptors went on the road and got the job done against a solid Indiana Pacers team with a 106-99 victory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, which was their 10th win in a row. Raptors head coach Dwane Casey spoke with the media after the victory and raved about his team's toughness.

“The guys are grinders,” coach Casey said. “They’re tough. They play with grit. They play together. They were getting on each other but they were taking it the right way. Nobody was sensitive and that’s the way we have to perform. The guys stuck together, played tough, played together and stayed with the game plan and ground it out.”

Since their 122-119 loss to the Washington Wizards back on Feb. 1, the Raptors have gone an eye-opening 17-1 during that span.

Many can expect Toronto to certainly get the job done tonight and avenge their loss from earlier this season against the Mavs.
