Vince Carter is one of the best Toronto Raptors of all time. The legend has played 21 successful seasons in the league and is currently a free agent. Carter spoke on the possibility of returning to where his career started and bringing his legacy full circle:

“It would be a cool situation,” Carter said. “It's all about if the situation works, if that's something Toronto wants to do — obviously, the fans kinda want that to happen — but it has to be something the organization wants and feels they need my services.”

Vinsanity played last season for the Atlanta Hawks. In his age-42 season, Carter played 76 games and put up solid numbers. He averaged 7.4 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 41.9 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Even though he's well past his prime, Carter could still play a supporting role for the Raptors. The team lost Kawhi Leonard in the offseason, and perhaps Carter could provide a fraction of the offense Leonard left. He also could be another spot shooter to spread the floor for rising star Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry.

It remains to be seen if the Raptors, or any NBA team, will be interested in bringing Vince Carter in for the upcoming season. Toronto fans would be ecstatic to see one of their first famous players return to the team for one last run.
