After Kevin Durant made his trade demand to the Brooklyn Nets, the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns have been mentioned as potential destinations. However, there is a dark horse team that can make a move for the superstar: the Toronto Raptors.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Raptors have all the necessary pieces to pull off a trade for KD. Furthermore, considering Masai Ujiri and his history of moves like the rental for Kawhi Leonard, it's not a stretch to think that he could make such blockbuster deal again.

“I think a team that's lurking is Toronto. They have all the kinds of pieces that you would want and their picks to do a deal for Kevin Durant… Masai Ujiri, you saw the chance he took on Kawhi Leonard,” Wok said, via ClutchPoints Twitter.

If the Raptors do end up making a push for Kevin Durant, it will be interesting to see which players they are going to send to the Nets. As reported earlier, Brooklyn wants a young player and at least three first-round picks in any package for the  star forward.

Toronto has Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes, so he'll probably be in the offer. The Raptors also have a slew of valuable players like OG Anunoby Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet to offer to sweeten the deal for the Nets.

The Raptors' level of motivation in trading for Durant is unknown, but if they want to quickly turn the team into a championship contender, trading KD might just be the move they need to make.
