The Toronto Raptors remain hopeful they'll be able to host their games in Toronto next season, not Louisville, Kentucky, according to Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports.

Lewenberg also reported that Louisville was never on the table for the Raptors; however, several contingency options have been discussed internally, but nothing is imminent yet.

The NBA is currently working on the schedule for the 2020-21 season—and one problem that has occurred is “how will the Raptors host their home games?”. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all non-essential travel into Canada has been banned, which leaves the Raptors in a difficult situation as all of their opponents are based in the United States.

The Toronto Blue Jays were also unable to play their home games in Canada, and they were forced to play their games in nearby Buffalo, New York. In addition to the Blue Jays, MLS's Toronto FC also had to play their games in the United States. Both teams were able to make it work, which brings us to the question of whether the Raptors will have to do the same thing or not.

This past season, the Raptors, as well as the rest of the NBA teams, resumed the season in a bubble in Orlando, Florida. However, there were only 22 teams in the bubble, if the NBA were to do the bubble again, it would have to be with all 30 teams. So with that said, another NBA bubble seems very unlikely. The Raptors will most likely have to host their games in the United States.
