Since entering the league back in 2005, C.J. Miles has made a name for himself as a deadly shooter, especially from beyond the arc. Proof of this is the career 36.4 percent clip he has from that distance. He's considered a specialist for teams who need reliable outside shooting.

On Sunday, though, in the game between the Toronto Raptors and Oklahoma City Thunder, the veteran shooting guard showed everyone that there's more to his game than being a shooter.

During a fastbreak in the fourth quarter, Miles received the ball in the corner before he attacked the basket. Instead of settling for a short jumper, a floater, or a layup, the 30-year-old showed his hops by throwing down a vicious left-handed slam and posterized former Raptor Patrick Patterson in the process.

It drew a loud applause from the crowd inside Air Canada Centre, who were mostly caught off guard with the move Miles pulled off.

Miles finished the game with a solid stat line of 15 points and two rebounds, which supported the big games of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, who combined for 46 points, seven rebounds, and 15 assists. However, their efforts were not enough to lead the Raptors to victory on the night as they ultimately lost, 132-125.

The Thunder were led by Russell Westbrook's huge triple-double of 37 points, 13 rebounds, and 14 assists, while Paul George chipped in 22 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals to hand the Raptors just their 18th loss of the season, strengthening their hold of third place in the Western Conference.
