Toronto Raptors fans are ecstatic after the franchise won their first ever NBA championship, but none so more than the team's ambassador and self-proclaimed super fan Drake.

The Raptors beat the undermanned Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, with Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet and eventual Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard leading the way. The Dubs were simply no match against Toronto following the injury of Klay Thompson, and it showed as they came up short.

Drake immediately took it to Instagram Live to celebrate the historic moment. He also took the time to rip the Raptors haters and reminded Guapdad about his “crazy” bet — warning that he will come at him for it.

Interestingly, Thompson didn't escape Drake's trash talking. The Canadian rapper mocked Klay and told him to wave at him when he goes waveboarding this summer.

Unfortunately for Drake, it's unlikely that Klay will be able to enjoy his offseason. Thompson suffered a torn ACL and will likely need surgery to address the issue. The Warriors' All-Star guard is also expected to miss six to 12 months due to the injury.

But that's not taking away anything from the Raptors, who seized the moment when they smelled blood. Drake and all Raptors fans have every reason to be happy, especially after their own team become the first non-USA franchise to win the chip.
