Toronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet made a 52-foot shot as time expired in the first half of Friday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Per ESPN Stats & Info, VanVleet's shot is the longest made field goal by any player in a playoff game since New Orleans Pelicans veteran Darius Miller made a 72-footer on April 28, 2018 against the Golden State Warriors.

The Raptors are well on their way to taking a commanding 3-0 series lead in this series. Toronto was expected to easily defeat the Nets since Brooklyn is playing without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, Spencer Dinwiddie and Joe Harris.

Fred VanVleet becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason. He is likely going to get paid something close to a max contract, which isn't bad considering the Rockford, Illinois native is an undrafted player.
