Toronto Raptors bench boss Nick Nurse was just named NBA Coach of the Year for the 2019-20 NBA season after leading his team to the second-best record (53-19) in the East. However, it seems he still can't get some love from Fred VanVleet.

Nurse was hilariously left hanging by VanVleet as he made his way to the bench during Game 4 of Toronto's first-round series match-up against the Brooklyn Nets. The 6-foot-1 guard managed to high-five all his Raptors teammates in line, but he somehow missed his coach's outstretched hand.

Being the good sport that he is, Nurse just slapped hands with the air and scratched his elbow afterward. Here's the hilarious clip:

Nick Nurse and the Raptors, meanwhile, joined the Boston Celtics as the second team to sweep their first-round series this season. They brought out the brooms against the seventh-seeded Nets on Sunday, 150-122.

After his scintillating start to the first three games of the postseason, Fred VanVleet took it easy in Game 4 and recorded just nine points on 2-for-5 shooting from the field, along with four rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 19 minutes. The defending champions will take on the Celtics in the next round.
