Kawhi Leonard of the Toronto Raptors was just heading towards his seat for the Blue Jays game and got a standing ovation from the crowd.

Peep the clip below posted by Faizal Khamisa of Sportsnet. Notice how quickly the audience stood up upon discovering that the man responsible for bringing the NBA title to Canada was right there:

It's been well-documented how Canada and its people have been extra-nice to Leonard even before they won the title. A restaurant offered free meals for a lifetime if he signs with the Raptors in the offseason. A real estate agency, too, has offered to give the two-time MVP a multi-million penthouse for free.

Given Leonard's demeanor, there are no rumors whatsoever regarding his decision. Will he stay long term with the Raptors or move on to another team?

But Leonard has been seen all over Toronto since the Raptors won the title. Some feel that he's familiarizing himself with the country and might be an indication that he'll stay for a longer amount of time. Some believe, however, that he's simply enjoying his time off by exploring the city.

Whatever Leonard's decision may be, we're sure that it'll be for the best of his blossoming career.
