Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard is not much of a talker. Many could attribute his radio silence as a key reason why his final days as a San Antonio Spurs member turned into a saga and social media fodder. He barely spoke for himself, leaving a countless number of rumors and speculations to endure longer than they should.

On a far less serious note, his reticence has also inspired some dude who goes by the handle 905UserNotFound on Reddit to create and submit a hilarious mock trailer for “A Kawhiet Place,” inspired by the original 2018 blockbuster horror flick “A Quiet Place.”

Planting cutout images of Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, LaMarcus Aldridge, Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills, and, of course, Kawhi Leonard on the faces of the members of the Abbott Family, the faux trailer managed to perfectly summarize how Leonard went from being a Spur to becoming a Raptor through that unforgettable bridge scene early in the narrative of A Quiet Place.

We’re not going to spoil the special appearance of one key character in the made-up trailer above, but for sure, you’d end up thinking he was the perfect choice for that specific role.

It would be interesting what Leonard has to say about the trailer — but never mind.
