When there's a post-game presser with the Toronto Raptors and Kawhi Leonard is the subject, it is probably best to keep the philosophical questions in your back pocket for some other player. That or risk having it answered literally in a manner that seems condescending but the superstar forward enjoys the benefit of the doubt given his laid back unassuming demeanor.

One reporter clearly didn't get the memo as he asked Leonard what an NBA championship would mean for Canada and he responded in typical Kawhi fashion.

There's a bit of truth to that considering that Leonard has only been with the team and up North for a single season, and spent his formative years in cities that are accustomed to winning already. He will likely find the answer soon though, with the Raptors winning Game 4 and the series shifting back to Toronto, they are on the cusp of bringing home the first NBA championship for the young expansion team.

But if you ask Leonard – and surely he will answer the same – they have nothing to celebrate yet. After all, 3-1 series leads aren't set in stone yet and the Cleveland Cavaliers have shown that it's not insurmountable, even more so with the adage that one does not underestimate the heart of a champion.

It's all dependent on the return of the Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant, however, who remains without a time table. If he does come back, it becomes a lot more interesting.
