Marc Gasol has enjoyed a successful summer, to say the least. In June, the 34-year-old center won an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors, besting the Golden State Warriors in 4-2 fashion. Then, over the last couple of weeks, Gasol took part in the FIBA World Cup, where he and the Spanish side earned the gold medal.

As part of the Raptors' victory parade in Toronto, Gasol showed the crowd his elation by chugging an entire bottle of wine.

Gasol's chugging skills were on display once again during Spain's victory parade. No wine this time, however, as it appears to be some sort of can in his hand:

Gasol had an excellent run with Spain at this year's FIBA World Cup, averaging 14.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists. Against Argentina in the final, the savvy veteran turned in 14 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and two steals. It was Spain's 25th victory over the Argentinians in 28 meetings.

Gasol is now the second player to win a FIBA World Cup and an NBA title in the same year. Lamar Odom achieved this feat in 2010, when he won an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers and the FIBA World Cup with Team USA:

“NBA champion and a World Cup champion as well,” Gasol told The New York Times. “What can I say? How does it sound to you?”

Gasol has certainly had quite the summer, but soon it will be time to get ready for Raptors training camp in the coming weeks.
