The Toronto Raptors edged out the Phoenix Suns, 111-109, at home on Thursday thanks to a driving bucket by power forward Pascal Siakam at the buzzer.

The Raptors were playing without superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard, who was out due to rest, so Pascal Siakam decided to take the game into his own hands and he came through with a beautiful left handed layup off the glass:

If you didn't know before Thursday, you now know that Pascal Siakam is one of the best up-and-coming players in the NBA. The 24-year-old finished with 10 points, 12 rebounds and five assists against the Suns in 33 minutes while shooting 4-of-8 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line.

With the win, Toronto is now 34-13 on the season and 19-4 at home.

Pascal Siakam entered Thursday night averaging 15.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor, 33.0 percent from beyond the arc and 78.0 percent from the free-throw line. The swingman is third on the Raptors in points per game, fourth in rebounds, and fifth in blocks.

Under the tutelage of Leonard, Pascal Siakam has all the tools of becoming an elite two-way player in the NBA one day. Toronto has a great young player at its disposal.
