Lamar Jackson is having himself quite the sophomore season with the Baltimore Ravens and he continued his historic campaign in Week 10. On Sunday, against the Cincinnati Bengals, Jackson became the second player in NFL history with a perfect passer rating in two games within the same season.

The only other player to have two games with a perfect passer rating in the same year is Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger was able to achieve that feat in 2007 with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

When your name is mentioned in the same sentence as Big Ben, it's usually for a good reason. While Roethlisberger has cemented himself in the all-time ranks, Jackson is beginning to create his name.

The Ravens' second-year quarterback's first game with a perfect passer rating came in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. In that game, he completed 17 of his 20 attempts for 324 yards and five touchdowns. Then, on Sunday, the Louisville product aired it out for 223 yards and three touchdowns while completing 15 of his 17 passes. Along with his impressive passing numbers, Jackson has taken the NFL by storm with his rushing ability as well.

Through the first 10 weeks, Jackson has 702 yards on 106 attempts and six touchdowns on the ground. Those numbers can go along with his 2,036 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions as to why he should be considered for the NFL's MVP Award.

When Jackson was drafted with the 32nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, some critics believed that he wouldn't be able to be an NFL quarterback. The critics who shared that sentiment are now in hiding.
