It seems like Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs has been around forever. However, even though he is finishing up his 16th NFL season, he doesn't feel any desire to retire, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.

“I don't feel that itch,” Suggs said Wednesday. “Ain't no hair standing up on the back of my neck right there.”

While Suggs has not given retirement any thought, he isn't coming right out and saying that he will be back in 2019.

“Nah, there's a lot of things that are always a possibility,” Suggs said. “You can't really harp on the negative. It possibly could but that hasn't crossed my mind like, ‘Oh my God.' We've got business to handle. We'll cross every bridge when it's time to come there.”

Of course, you can't expect Suggs to be pondering his future right now when the Ravens' playoff hopes are on the line this coming weekend.

Baltimore currently owns a record of 9-6 after a big win over the Los Angeles Chargers last Saturday. With the Pittsburgh Steelers falling to the New Orleans Saints to drop to 8-6-1 on the year, the Ravens assumed first place in the AFC North division.

If Baltimore goes on to defeat the Cleveland Browns this Sunday, it will lock up the division crown.

Suggs has been a big reason for the Ravens' success this season.

Even at 36 years old, Suggs is a force, having registered 32 tackles, seven sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a defensive touchdown and six passes defended through 15 games in 2018.
