“At least four teams” have asked about Baltimore Ravens kicker Kaare Vedvik, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter adds that two of those teams come from the NFC North and in all likelihood Baltimore will trade the punter/kicker before the start of the regular season.

The Norwegian kicker Vedvik was an undrafted free agent signed by the Ravens in 2018. Vedvik missed last season, however, due to an assault suffered, leading to the kicker being placed on the non-football injury list.

In the Ravens' opening 29-0 preseason win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Vedvik connected on four field-goal tries and went 2/2 on extra-point attempts. Vedvik was credited with 14 points in the exhibition matchup and hit a 55-yard field goal, too.

Nevertheless, the Ravens will likely part with the Norwegian athlete with veteran placekicker Justin Tucker firmly entrenched as the starting kicker for the Maryland franchise.

Tucker, 29, has been with the Ravens since 2012. He's a Super Bowl champion and two-time Pro-Bowler, and a three-time first-team All-Pro kicker. With that number of accolades, it's no wonder Tucker has been seen as a valuable piece for the Ravens for so long, despite the promising kicker/punter in Vedvik.

Instead, the Ravens will look to extract as much value from Vedvik as possible by trading the former undrafted free agent.

The Chicago Bears are believed to be an interested party in Vedvik. Chicago has been trying out Elliott Fry and Eddy Pineiro in training camp and the preseason. The Bears are looking to shore up their special teams after last season's disaster with Cody Parkey.
