Quarterback prospect Lamar Jackson has been busy meeting with teams and doing some more workouts as the draft draws nearer. In the past few days, it’s been revealed that he’s got a meeting scheduled with the Cleveland Browns and also worked out with the Miami Dolphins.

And now, the Baltimore Ravens are another team in his growing lists of teams for the former Heisman Trophy winner to visit, according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.

Here's an interesting one: The Ravens have scheduled a Top 30 visit with Louisville QB Lamar Jackson. It's expected to be one of his final trips — if not the last trip he takes — to a team facility before the draft.

The Ravens just signed free agent Robert Griffin III to serve as Joe Flacco’s backup quarterback. However, they clarified that the RGIII signing will not affect the chances of them possiby picking up a quarterback in the draft. The Ravens are currently slotted at No. 16 in the first round.

Baltimore’s interest in Jackson could be a sign that they are at least open to entertaining the possibility of not only finding a completely different style of quarterback to Flacco, but a different style of offense altogether. Jackson is a dynamic dual-threat QB who could provide the Ravens with an added dimension on offense that they haven’t had in a long time.

The fact that Flacco has struggled in recent years could also be a significant factor. The Ravens have missed the playoffs in four of the last five seasons since Flacco led them to the Super Bowl. If the Ravens do draft Jackson, it might just signal the start of a drastic change in the franchise’s plans moving forward.
