The NFL announced the Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday and the Baltimore Ravens are going to be elated to see the results. According to Adam Schefter, Baltimore has set an NFL record with 12 players being named to the Pro Bowl.

The offensive players that were named from the Ravens include Lamar Jackson, Mark Ingram, Mark Andrews, Ronnie Stanley, and Marshall Yanda. As for the defensive side of the ball, Matthew Judon, Marcus Peters, Marlon Humphrey, and Earl Thomas were announced.

Lastly, Justin Tucker and Morgan Cox (the long-snapper) will represent the Ravens on special teams. The number of players that Baltimore is possibly sending to the Pro Bowl is telling on how well they've performed this season.

The Ravens enter Week 16 with a 12-2 record and are amid a 10-game winning streak. The 10 wins in a row are the most in franchise history for the Ravens.

Of all of the players named, Jackson was undoubtedly the easiest decision. The second-year quarterback has plastered his name as the front-runner for the NFL's MVP Award.

Jackson has put together a historic season thus far by throwing for 2,889 yards, 33 touchdowns, and six interceptions. The dynamic quarterback has also contributed 1,103 yards and another seven scores with his legs.

Last Thursday, Jackson surpassed Michael Vick's single-season record for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in NFL history. In addition, with another 111 yards through the air, Jackson could become the first quarterback in history to throw for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in the same season.

The roster is labeled as the AFC roster and is comprised of the teams in the American Football Conference. But with the number of players named from John Harbaugh's squad, they should name the roster the Baltimore Ravens.
