The Baltimore Ravens have had a rough go of things in recent days. After losing their second straight game on Sunday, the Ravens were notified of multiple positive tests for COVID-19. Jamison Hensley of ESPN reported Baltimore has shut down the facility on Monday.

The NFL is growing more preemptive and cautionary with respect to the virus.

All teams are in “intensive protocol” with positive cases expected to rise in the winter months. It remains to be seen how widespread Baltimore's outbreak is at this moment, but the Ravens are hoping to be proactive in containing that spread.

This is another bump in the road for a team that has struggled as of late. The Ravens' overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday made it three losses in four games. Baltimore also fell to third in the AFC North when the Cleveland Browns eked out a win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Lamar Jackson had seemingly begun to put things together in the last few weeks. But he struggled again on Sunday, completing just 17 of 29 passes for 186 yards and just one touchdown against one interception. Jackson was also limited to 51 yards rushing on 13 carries.

Despite Jackson's inconsistency, however, it is the defense that has been more disappointing. The Ravens have been ripped for 173 rushing yards in each of the last two games. Titans running back Derrick Henry exploded in the second half and won the game with a 29-yard scamper in overtime.

Baltimore is searching for answers on the gridiron. The Ravens are also going to have to lay low and take precautions after reporting multiple positive tests for COVID-19 on Monday.
