The Baltimore Ravens are struggling to get back on track offensively. Despite having one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league, the Ravens have fallen flat on offense this season resulting in the team being one of the worst in the NFL in that category.

Joe Flacco, who is having a forgettable season thus far, talked about what the team needs to do to turn things around offensively. Flacco thinks his squad needs to be aggressive, via John Eisenberg of BaltimoreRavens.com.

“We need to go after it. We can’t sit back and just expect us to not lose football games. We’ve got to go attack,” he said. “We’re a 4-5 football team. You always look at teams in this position and say, ‘Man, they’ve got nothing to lose.’ Man, we should feel that way. We’ve got to go out there and leave it all out there.”

The Ravens are currently 24th in the NFL in total offense with Flacco having one of the worst seasons of his NFL career. Flacco has already thrown 10 interceptions to only eight touchdowns on the season with Baltimore 30th in yards per game.

Along with the team struggling offensively, the Ravens are sitting at 4-5 on the year which is second place in the AFC North division behind the 6-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. Unless there's a drastic turn around for Flacco and company, the division title may be out of reach with Pittsburgh cruising.

Although it has been a disappointing first half of the 2017 campaign, the Ravens still have a shot at the playoffs and will need to step it up on offense to get back on track.
