Earlier today, Ian Rapoport reported that Joe Flacco could be ready to return to the huddle for the Baltimore Ravens after missing their last three games with a right hip injury. Rapoport also said that Lamar Jackson's play would be a factor in head coach John Harbaugh's decision to insert Flacco into the lineup or not.

Today, the Ravens beat the Atlanta Falcons 26-16, giving Jackson his third straight victory since becoming the starter. Jackson completed 12 of 21 throws for 125 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions, but he added another 75 yards and a touchdown on the ground and brought the Ravens' record to 7-5.

Jackson missed one series in the third quarter after suffering a hit to the head. Robert Griffin III completed two of four passes for 21 yards before Jackson cleared concussion protocol.

In his nine games played this season, Flacco has a QBR of 58.7. He has thrown 12 touchdowns and six interceptions. The Ravens were 4-5 in the games he’s started.

“He’s done enough [to continue starting],” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said about Jackson, according Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic via Pro Football Talk.

While he wouldn't commit to starting Jackson or Flacco, Harbaugh did his best to get out in front of any controversy talk.

“There is no quarterback controversy in our locker room,” he said to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “Maybe we’ll play all three or maybe we’ll play one.”

The Ravens took Jackson with the 32nd pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and until Flacco’s injury he was used mostly as a decoy.

After the decision they make this week, Baltimore will have to decide if they want to continue with Flacco next season, or move on to Jackson. Flacco will be 34 and is slated to make $18.5 million next year.
