Before Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was tearing up defenses in the NFL, he did his damage in the NCAA. There, he blossomed as one of the most electrifying players in college football. His ability to run the ball as a quarterback made for some insane highlights, and he earned the first-ever Heisman Trophy for Louisville in his sophomore year.

Ahead of Jackson's jersey retirement ceremony, the Cardinals decided they wanted to immortalize the Ravens QB's name in more ways than one. In honor of Jackson, Louisville revealed that they have named a street in their campus after the legendary quarterback.

There's even a speed limit of eight miles per hour in Jackson Way! The Ravens quarterback will need to be careful when going through the campus.

On a more serious note, Lamar Jackson has come a long way. From earning the Heisman trophy in Louisville to being the NFL MVP for the Ravens, Jackson has done it all in his career. He's undeniably one of the greatest college football players to ever play, so it's only fitting that his alma mater honors his legacy by immortalizing him in their campus.

This will be a nice feel-good moment for Jackson, who is coming off of a frustrating loss to the Miami Dolphins yesterday. The former league MVP sounded off on the Ravens' struggles against the Dolphins, saying:

“I was hot. We weren't scoring points. We kept putting our defense out there. They played a great game… That's why I was mad. If you were on offense, you would be mad too.”
