The Baltimore Ravens, unfortunately, went throw OTA's without superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson, who was absent due to his stalled contract negotiations. However, with mini camp starting this week, it appears Jackson is ready to return to the team despite the lack of an extension.

Teammate Marlon Humphrey took to social media to reveal that his signal-caller is in the building on Monday:

It's important to note OTA's were voluntary which is likely one of the reasons the Ravens QB skipped them. But, it's certainly a good feeling for Baltimore to know their franchise cornerstone is ready to roll for another season.

Jackson missed the final four games of the 2021 season due to an ankle injury as the Ravens closed out the campaign on a brutal six-game losing streak, which resulted in them missing the playoffs altogether. Jackson hasn't practiced with the team since December, but head coach John Harbaugh said recently he expected his shot-caller to show up to mini-camp.

Via Sports Illustrated:

“I expect him to be here at mandatory minicamp,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. “I know he’s working hard. Lamar Jackson is a hard worker, so I’m not worried about how hard he’s working. I fully expect him to come back in great shape – that’s what he talks about – and I’m sure he’s throwing, I’m sure he’s doing a good job, and when he gets back here, we’ll be rolling with Lamar”

If he did decide to skip Ravens camp, Jackson would've been fined around $9,000. He is entering the final year of his rookie deal and although he's yet to agree to a new deal with Baltimore, there's also no sign Lamar Jackson wants out.
