The Baltimore Ravens currently have one of the league's best offensive duos with quarterback Lamar Jackson under center and running back Mark Ingram holding down the fort in the backfield.

With Jackson more or less already solidifying his status as the league MVP for this season, Ingram has served as a steady veteran presence after coming over to Baltimore by way of the New Orleans Saints.

Not only has this tandem led the Ravens to the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but Jackson and Ingram have now officially made history as the first pair of NFL teammates to rush for at least 1,000 yards each since back in 2009-10.

With Ingram notably serving as the second Ravens player to eclipse the 1,000-yard rushing mark this season after Jackson first did so in Week 14, this one-two punch in Baltimore is the first pair of teammates to produce such seasons since running backs Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams made it happen for the Carolina Panthers in 2009-10.

It is also worth noting that Jackson and Ingram have become the first pair in franchise history to reach such a mark as the result of a single season effort.

As it stands today, Jackson is the frontrunner to become the 2019-20 NFL MVP while the AFC playoffs will have to go through Baltimore. As the No. 1 overall seed in the conference, the Ravens would host every round of the playoffs leading up to the Super Bowl.

That obviously means that the heralded New England Patriots or surging Kansas City Chiefs would be forced to hit the road to take on the Ravens come playoff time.
