Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson wants everyone to know that 2022 will be their season.

Ever since joining the Ravens in 2018 as the no. 32 overall pick, Jackson has been quite sensational for Baltimore. They made the playoffs for three straight years after his arrival and have been consistent postseason contenders.

They did fail to make it to the playoffs in 2021, but with an 8-9 record to finish the campaign and the Pittsburgh Steelers making it out of the division with a 9-7 standing, it is worth wondering what would have happened had Jackson not gotten injured in Week 14.

Jackson, however, is ready to move on from the “What ifs” and focus at the task at hand: to bring Baltimore back to the playoffs and contend for the Super Bowl. In both areas, the 25-year-old signal-caller seems confident the Ravens can accomplish them.

For what it's worth, Lamar Jackson has every reason to be optimistic about their future and the upcoming season. Not only is he returning healthy, but the Ravens also revamped its roster to give their QB more help.

Perhaps one of the team's biggest improvement is on the offensive line, wherein they added rookie Tyler Linderbaum and right tackle Morgan Moses among many others. The return of Ronnie Stanley should also only boost Baltimore's ability to compete among the top dogs.

Of course being good on paper doesn't mean it will translate to the field. Their health will also be a major factor whether they'll dominate or end up struggling once again. But still, with Jackson more motivated than ever, there is reason to believe they are going to “turn it up” this 2022.
