It’s a great time to be a Baltimore Ravens fan due to a certain man named Lamar Jackson.

He’s quickly turning out to be the steal of the 2018 Draft due to his threat as a dynamic quarterback who can make deep passes in the pocket as well as run as quick as a speedy running back. After an okay rookie season, he’s exploded into a superstar that will most likely get him to his very first Pro Bowl this season.

He showcased just how good he was when his Ravens hosted Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans. The 22-year-old pass-caller was simply unstoppable, completing four touchdowns and 222 passing yards on only 24 attempts. He was also unstoppable during his scrambles, netting 86 rushing yards on nine carries.

He’s been playing so well this season that Ravens teammate Mark Ingram has already called him the easy favorite to win the MVP award while he was introducing him.

Jackson laughed and was flattered by the way he was introduced by his teammate, but he showed everyone that he’s not about the personal accolades.

“I’m all about winning,” Jackson said, via Penn Live. “I’m glad [Ingram] feels that way, but I’m trying to get something even more.”

This is the type of answer football fans love to hear from their franchise QB. Sure, winning accolades will add to your legacy as a football player, but history remembers Super Bowls title a lot better than who won MVP a certain year.

If Jackson continues having this particular mindset, both the MVP and Super Bowl trophy will soon be in his hands.
