The Baltimore Ravens were defeated by the Tennessee Titans in shocking fashion on Saturday night. Following the game, Lamar Jackson said that Baltimore beat themselves in the loss to the Titans.

“We just beat ourselves,” Lamar Jackson said via Kevin Patra. “We had, well, I had a lot of mistakes on my behalf. Three turnovers, that shouldn't happen. They came out and played. We just started off slow. We just got to do better next time.”

From the early moments of the game, the Ravens continually made uncharacteristic mistakes. Whether it was an interception thrown by Jackson or a dropped pass, Baltimore couldn't get out of their own way.

The Titans took advantage of the Ravens' mishaps by using a healthy dose of Derrick Henry. The league's leading rusher was utterly dominant as he gashed Baltimore's defense for 195 yards on 30 carries. The bruising back also threw a touchdown that essentially put the game out of reach.

As for Jackson, the second-year quarterback ended the game with a career-high 365 passing yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. The 23-year-old signal-caller also rushed for 143 yards on 20 attempts—becoming the first player in NFL history to pass for 300 yards and rush for 100 yards in a postseason game.

After losing just two fumbles in the regular season, Jackson was stripped of the football versus the Titans on Saturday. Turnovers weren't the only reason why the Ravens found themselves in a hole early on.

Some are going to criticize the young quarterback for how he's performed in his first two postseason games. While he has failed to win either game, it's hard to pinpoint his performance as the reason why the Ravens were eliminated from the playoffs.

Altogether, Baltimore had plenty of blunders that led to their demise. At the same time, Tennessee had a gameplan that worked to perfection to upset the No. 1 seed in front of their home crowd.
