The Baltimore Ravens went head-to-head against a formidable opponent in Week 14 with the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs looking to clinch a playoff berth. Baltimore had won three straight games prior to this matchup with rookie Lamar Jackson under center, but that wasn't the case on Sunday with the first-year quarterback suffering his first loss as a starter.

Along with losing his first game while filling in for veteran Joe Flacco, Jackson suffered an ankle injury in the loss to Patrick Mahomes and company. Jackson helped force the game to overtime against arguably the best team in the AFC, but the ankle injury is concerning for the team hoping to make the postseason. However, he maintains that he's good after getting checked out, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

During the matchup with the Chiefs and their high-powered offense led by Mahomes, Jackson showed he can get the job done with his arm as well as his legs. The rookie quarterback has dealt with a lot of criticism since taking over for Flacco with many believing he's only a runner and will get figured out by opposing defenses sooner rather than later.

However, Jackson threw two touchdown passes against Kansas City to go along with 147 yards through the air. As usual, he was a force on the ground as well with 71 rushing yards. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to get the best of Andy Reid's Chiefs with Kansas City getting the win in overtime, 27-24.

In Week 15, the Ravens will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will be one of two homes games left before the playoffs with perhaps the most crucial matchup left being against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16 on the road.
