The Baltimore Ravens have been anxiously waiting for any update on Lamar Jackson's status leading up to the Ravens' matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Jackson did not suit up for the Ravens' Week 11 game against the Chicago Bears, in which the 7-3 Ravens secured the win, 16-13. Jackson was sidelined due to an illness. As Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports:

“Sidelined for only the third game of his four-year career, Jackson started to feel sick last Tuesday. He missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday before returning for a full practice Friday. But the symptoms came back Saturday.

Jackson has never missed back-to-back games.”

Good news for Ravens fans is that Head Coach John Harbaugh shed some light on Jackson's situation, in which Harbaugh said that Jackson “felt good.” However, Harbaugh would go on to clarify that he was not fully aware of just how good Jackson felt, and that the two have not yet gotten the chance to meet since Jackson fell ill.

Harbaugh later said that he hopes Jackson is able to participate in Tuesday's walkthrough leading up to Week 12, and the head coach made it abundantly clear that he does not want to put the cart before the horse when dealing with Jackson's situation. Harbaugh clarified that he does not want to consider Jackson's participation in the walkthrough as an expectation, because no one fully knows how well Lamar Jackson is doing until he returns and gets evaluated.
