The Baltimore Ravens are tired of hearing about the noise surrounding the Cleveland Browns. Mark Andrews was among the players who said the Ravens are ready to prove that they're the AFC North Champions once again.

In an article by Jamison Hensley for ESPN, the Ravens tight end believes Baltimore thrives on being underdogs. The tight end has only been with the Ravens for just one season, but knows that the media continues to overlook Baltimore as a contender.

“I feel like the Baltimore Ravens are almost used to that — being counted out and being the underdogs,” Ravens tight end Mark Andrews said. “We thrive on that type of thing. We work hard each and every day. I feel like we work harder than any team in the NFL. For us to be disrespected and really not getting the credit we deserve being the champs of the North, it is what it is. But we’re going to be coming back.”

Last season, the Ravens began the season with Joe Flacco under center with Baltimore being 4-5 through nine games. Then, rookie phenom Lamar Jackson helped lead the Ravens to a 6-1 record in the last seven games to win the AFC North.

Jackson provided a much-needed spark for Baltimore and helped lead the team to the playoffs. This season, the Ravens are ready to defend their AFC North crown.

The media and fans alike have hyped the Browns as a contender after they acquired Odell Beckham Jr. via trade. Andrews and the other players on the team are ready to use that as motivation during the 2019 season.
