Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews left the team's Week 14 matchup with the Buffalo Bills early with a knee injury. However, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Andrews' injury is considered ‘a minor one.'

The second-year tight end played just nine snaps and caught one of three targets for 14 yards before exiting the game on Sunday.

The former Oklahoma star is enjoying a breakout season in his second year in the NFL and has quickly developed into a top target for Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. On the season, Andrews has caught 54 balls for 707 yards and seven touchdowns.

Andrews' seven touchdowns are tied for first among all NFL tight ends this season and his yardage and catch numbers rank sixth among those at his position.

Since drafting Jackson and tight ends Andrews and Hayden Hurst in the first three rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft, Baltimore has become one of the most efficient offenses in the NFL. This season, behind an MVP-like year from Jackson, the Ravens are leading the league 33.1 points per game and rank second in yards per game.

With the Ravens win and a New England Patriots loss, Baltimore now has sole possession of the best record in the AFC at 11-2.

With Thursday Night Football next up on Baltimore's schedule, it would be surprising to see Andrews play much, if at all, considering the short week. The Ravens will face off against a New York Jets team that has won four of their last five games but nonetheless comes to Baltimore at just 5-8 on the season.
