The Baltimore Ravens received some unfortunate news ahead of their Week 12 bout against the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, both Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins have tested positive for COVID-19, leaving them unable to play in the Thanksgiving showdown.

The Ravens had previously announced that they had shut down their facility due to multiple positive tests.

With both halfbacks out, that leaves the Ravens severely limited on options in the backfield. As a result, Gus Edwards is in line to get the start while receiving most of the snaps in their absences.

Edwards has rushed for a total of 376 yards on 85 carries this season. He has turned those attempts into three rushing touchdowns during that time. At the moment, he's projected to finish under his 2019 mark of 711 yards. That could change if either Ingram or Dobbins are out for an extended period of time.

Without their RB1 and RB2, the Ravens still have an exceptional talent who will generate some momentum from rushes. Lamar Jackson still leads the team in rushing yards with 575, and he'll look to have his way on Thursday against the Steelers. He performed to an accepting degree against the Steelers earlier in November, rushing for 65 yards on 16 carries. Even so, the Steelers have been hard-pressed on most rushers this season, so Jackson could have difficulty shaking lose from the backfield.

The Steelers are coming into Week 12 undefeated with a 10-0 record after an easy 27-3 over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Ravens are skidding a bit, losers of two in a row to drop to 6-4 on the season. That's not only behind Pittsburgh, but also the 7-3 Cleveland Browns.
