COVID-19 has shaken up everybody's way of life — and that goes for NFL players on the weekend of road games.

As part of the many restrictions placed on NFL employees as they navigate the 2020 season amidst a pandemic, players are no longer sharing hotel rooms — or leaving the hotel at all.

Buses are half-full, while staff and players are spread out on planes (where eating is not encouraged).

In August, Dr. Andrew Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens said it's difficult to comprehend “the amount of detail that is required to think about every conceivable weak link in the chain, so to speak, from the time we leave Baltimore until the time we come back.”

Tighter travel restrictions, of course, means no going out for group dinners at local restaurants.

Consequently, Baltimore's Pro Bowl linebacker Matt Judon has to adjust one of his prized road trip routines. Typically, Judon has taken the Saturday night before a game to check out a local pizzeria and go out for slices.

However, Judon believes he can find a way to compensate.

“They’re just going to have to bring it to me and we’re just going to have to be chilling up in a hotel,” Judon said, via PennLive. “Pizza can be delivered anywhere.”

Despite all of the restrictions, Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh, believes in the organization's ability to ease any travel issues.
“It’s a challenge in some ways,” Harbaugh said. “The teams that traveled last week had to deal with it. The teams that travel this week for the first time will have to deal with it for the first time. We’re very confident in the people that organize all that for us … so we’ll be fine.”
The Ravens (1-0) will take on the Texans (0-2) for their first road game of the season in Week 2. If Judon is interested, I've heard Romano's is great.
