As a result of an offseason in which the Baltimore Ravens lost numerous key defensive players, linebacker Matthew Judon is now the longest-tenured Raven on that side of the ball.

And he hopes it stays that way.

While Judon is entering the final year of his deal and is unsure of his future, he knows he wants to remain in Baltimore.

“I have no clue what the future holds,” Judon said, according to Aaron Kasinitz of PennLive.com. “Hopefully, I’ll be here forever and ever. But, like this offseason, we never know. . . . I feel at home. I don’t know how other organizations are, because I was drafted here, but here I feel home. It’s comfortable out here. I almost drive to work with my eyes closed, and I love the people here, the culture here.”

Judon is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he played all 16 games and registered 44 tackles, seven sacks, and a forced fumble.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Grand Valley State, was originally selected by the Ravens in the fifth round (146th pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He appeared in 14 contests during his rookie year, finishing with 27 tackles, four sacks, and a fumble recovery. Then, the following season, Judon participated in all 16 games and totaled 58 tackles, eight sacks, a couple of forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.

The Ravens won 10 games this past season and captured the AFC North division title. They then went on to lose to the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.
