In an exclusive interview with the Establish The Pass podcast on ClutchPoints, Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowler Patrick Ricard talked about playing alongside Lamar Jackson, his evolution from college defensive lineman to one of the best fullbacks in the NFL, making fullback assists a part of fantasy football, new details about his neighbor stealing his DoorDash Outback Steakhouse order, and more.

When Ricard initially tweeted about his neighbor taking his Outback delivery, the story went viral with countless outlets covering it. The Ravens fullback revealed more details about his interaction with his neighbor during his podcast appearance with ClutchPoints, including an apology from the man's mother.

“I live in a townhouse, so all the townhouses are the same, and sometimes they accidentally drop it off to my neighbor's house. It has happened a few times and I have Ring on my door so I know if somebody walks over and takes my food. I ordered it, and it says it got dropped off, because DoorDash sends you a text and a picture of where they dropped it off… So I go outside and look around, and I'm like, ‘Did somebody steal my food?'

“Then I look at the picture and I’m like, ‘That’s my neighbor's doormat and my food is not there.” So I knocked on the door a few times, there’s no answer. I call my wife and she's like, ‘No, he probably has it or knows where it is, it wouldn't just vanish from his door step.' So I knock again a bunch of times, I’m knocking out loud, and all of the sudden he comes out and at that point I know he has it, because why did he not answer the door the first time. So I just straight up accuse him and show him the picture of the ordered food, he gets all nervous and doesn’t make sense. He finally says, ‘Yeah I have it upstairs, I'll bring it down.'

“He brings it down to me and it’s already on a plate. He already took all my food out and put it on a plate, like a paper plate about to eat it. It's been like five, ten minutes, since it was dropped off, I'm like ‘Dude, are you kidding me right now?' I explained to him like, ‘I don’t want this to happen again.' All of a sudden he started getting all hot and pressed, and got in my face a little bit. I'm like, ‘Dude, you’re so wrong right now, you stole my food, what are you talking about?'

“Long story short, the next night I get someone knocking on my door at 10 o’clock, and it’s a lady. I go downstairs, it’s his mother… My neighbor is his mother, and this dude is my age. He looks like he's in his 20s, late 20s. I don’t know if he lives with her or stays there sometimes, but she apologized for all this.

“That night I put it on Twitter and Twitter ate it up. DoorDash reached out to me, Outback reached out to me. Green Turtles, a local pub in the area, reached out to me. I turned out pretty well… It was crazy dude. If it’s not yours, don't take it. Either don’t take it or put it inside and then just wait until somebody knocks on the door… I don’t know, crazy.”
