The Baltimore Ravens have quite the quarterback conundrum on their hands. Quarterback Robert Griffin III finds himself on the unfavorable side of discussions.

Griffin did not take part in the preseason finale versus the Washington Redskins on Thursday. According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, he admittedly feels his future in Baltimore is s bit uncertain:

Robert Griffin III says he feels as if he's “in no man's land” after not playing in the Baltimore Ravens' 30-20 preseason-closing win over the Washington Redskins on Thursday night.

“I put my best foot forward,” Griffin said. “You go out there and you're effective, and that's all you can ask for. There's no stress or worry on my end because I know I went out there and showed them that I'm ready to go. We'll see what they decide [ahead of cut-down day].”

There is certainly plenty of truth to Griffin's comments. He has spent the offseason competing between an established starter in Joe Flacco and his future successor in Lamar Jackson. That said, Baltimore's intentions for bringing him in to begin with are rather unclear.

It's been rumored that the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Jacksonville Jaguars could have interest in trading for Griffin.

There is still a chance that the Ravens keep Griffin around. However, that seems highly unlikely since they have not carried three quarterbacks on a roster over the last nine straight seasons. It appears Griffin's future in Baltimore could hinge on how confident they are in Jackson as the backup going into the regular season. The rookie's fluctuating preseason performance has not made the decision any easier. Regardless, it will be interesting to see if they are willing to make an exception for Griffin.
