Heading into the offseason, one of the biggest names that may be on the market is Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

The 25-year-old posted a vague tweet on Saturday morning that drew the attention of two Baltimore Ravens players in safeties Eric Weddle and Tony Jefferson, who both made their pitch to Landry to join them this offseason.

The sudden interest from the Ravens appears to have been rekindled from the players after the team had reportedly attempted to trade for Landry prior to the start of the 2017 season and at the trade deadline. However, the Ravens don't currently possess an ample amount of projected salary cap space with more than $10 million. This would require the front office to make additional moves in order to make enough space to bring him aboard if needed.

Landry is expected to make a strong push to land a lucrative multi-year contract in the free-agent market given that he has already voiced that he won't do a hometown discount to the return to the Dolphins. This is especially the case due to the fact that he is coming off his rookie contract where he made just $3.4 million over four years.

What should also help lift his value is that he's coming off a career-best campaign where he posted a career-high 112 receptions, 987 receiving yards, and a career-best nine touchdowns. Landry set a few franchise records with the most catches in a single season while being the first Dolphin to record at least 100 catches in multiple seasons.
His addition to the Ravens would give them the much-needed help in the passing game that they lacked this past season. Baltimore ranked 29th in passing offense with 189 yards per contest. He could step in to fill the void left by Mike Wallace, who is set to become to a free agent this upcoming offseason. It is clear that there is a possible fit making it something to keep an eye once free agency begins next month.
