The Baltimore Ravens expect Marquise Brown to be a dynamic force as their primary receiver. But, they may not have gotten just one of those in the 2019 NFL Draft. Miles Boykin, their third-round pick, is making waves in training camp. A 6-foot-4, 220-pound receiver hailing from Notre Dame with a 4.42 40-time and 43.5-inch vertical in the books, he certainly has the physical and athletic profile to do so.

Former New Orleans Saints receiver and current Raven, Willie Snead, is giving rave reviews for Boykin in training camp.  As he said, via 24/7 Sports;

All Miles wants to do is just grow and learn. I keep telling him every day, I'm like ‘Dude you look like Michael Thomas! I remember when Michael Thomas came into New Orleans, he was built the same, had the same mentality — Just trying to get better every day. That's his goal right now is just to learn as a rookie, to grow as a rookie, and make plays when they come. He's getting better every day. You could see that [practice at M&T Bank Stadium last Saturday] was a huge step for him. At the end of the day, he's gonna be a huge part of our offense. And if he continues to have that same mindset, he'll be a pretty good player for us.

That's high praise for a rookie receiver, especially considering Michael Thomas became the highest-paid receiver in NFL history on Thursday. But, Boykins is one of the most gifted young receivers around, if he continues to bring the work ethic Thomas does, the sky is the limit.
