The Baltimore Ravens have made it clear that C.J. Mosley is a top priority this offseason and even though the team didn't put the franchise tag on him, Jamison Hensley of ESPN thinks the team will still find a way to keep him in Baltimore.

Mosley has earned second-team All-Pro honors in four of his five seasons, but if the team had franchise tagged him they would have owed him $15.4 million, and general manager Eric DeCosta decided to not go in that direction.

Now he is open to the free agent market but the Ravens can still resign him after Mosley sees the offer, and that's what Hensley thinks will happen.

“Mosley and the Ravens have both been optimistic about getting a deal done since the season ended. Baltimore typically doesn't let first-round picks go after they've lived up to expectations. The Ravens will keep Mosley.”

The big question for Baltimore is just how much are the Ravens willing to spend on Mosley. He was one of the best players on the Ravens last year, and there are probably other teams that are going to be willing to shell out a large sum of cash to get him.

Baltimore might have to get into a bidding war to get it done, and it might turn out that it was a better deal to just franchise tag him, but it looks like the Ravens are still going to try to make a run to get his services back for the next few years.
