It is no secret that the Baltimore Ravens' offense suffered from a severe lack of firepower throughout the 2017 NFL season. As a result, they could be among the suitors looking to acquire the services of free agent tight end Jimmy Graham, formerly of the New Orleans Saints and currently Seattle Seahawks (depending on the 2018 offseason)

Although he endured an underwhelming tenure in Seattle, he is still one of the best red zone threats in the league. According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, the Ravens could make a strong push for Graham this offseason at the right price:

Baltimore desperately needs playmakers for quarterback Joe Flacco, and Graham can be a difference-maker in the red zone. Graham scored 10 touchdowns last season, which led all tight ends and doubled the production of all of the Ravens' tight ends combined (five touchdowns). Flacco has always loved throwing to tight ends, and the Ravens relied heavily on 37-year-old Ben Watson because Nick Boyle and Maxx Williams were primarily blocking tight ends. Graham isn't the same game-changer as he was when he played for New Orleans four years ago, but he would fill a big void on the NFL's No. 29 passing offense and shouldn't require Baltimore to break the bank to sign him.

Baltimore had been in control of their own playoff destiny down the stretch of the season. However, they had a habit of settling for field goals rather than touchdowns. Although it arguably made Justin Tucker one of the best kickers in the league, it is not something they want to do moving forward.

Fortunately, Graham specializes in red zone production as his unique blend of size and athleticism make him a matchup nightmare. Despite suffering his worst season since his rookie year, the five-time Pro Bowler still managed to record 10 touchdowns.

That said, there is indeed a strong possibility the Ravens can acquire Graham for the right price this offseason considering his desire to take on a heavier workload in the passing game.
