Terrell Suggs has only played for one team in his whole career. The now 36-year-old linebacker has taken the field for no other team than the Baltimore Ravens.

His 16-year career is no doubt a superb one. With the Ravens, he has made it to seven Pro Bowls, a Super Bowl ring in 2012, and a Defensive Player of the Year award in 2011. Not to mention, he was a mainstay in the NFL's top 100 players.

Suggs, alongside Ed Reed and Ray Lewis, gave life to one of the league's most remarkable defenses. But with age taking its toll on him and his contract expiring, Suggs will definitely end up in the free agent market this offseason.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Suggs is likely to test the waters of free agency.

Suggs, 36, remains one of the most important cogs on Baltimore's highly-ranked defense and, with an expiring contract and no talks about an extension, is likely to test the market for the first time in his career.

Throughout the course of his career, Suggs has extended his contract with the Ravens several times.

A new coaching staff might take over next season as John Harbaugh is expected to leave. The Ravens would be a team in transition, which may not be of interest at this point in Suggs' career.

Suggs currently has 5.5 sacks this season to lead his team along with Za'Darius Smith. It is a proof of how serviceable he can still be.

It may be hard to imagine seeing Suggs in another jersey, but if he wants to keep playing in the NFL, he must be open to the idea of playing for another team.
