Ray Allen isn't satisfied with his career three-point makes ranking and he wants to do something about it.
Reports of Allen wanting to make his NBA return after two seasons away from the game are starting to become more frequent. He has been linked to be interested in the Warriors, Cavaliers, Celtics, and the Bucks.
The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn reports in on the latest about Allen:
Ray wants to play again. I'm sure about that.
I don't think he particularly enjoys watching Stephen Curry rain threes and challenge his record and be called the best shooter in the world. I think that bothers him. I know Ray wants to extend his all-time 3-point record.
After 18 years, according to Washburn, Allen wants to continue playing even at the age of 41, because he wants to extend his record and further tighten his stronghold on title of the league's most prolific shooter ever.
Curry isn't close to Allen's mark at this juncture of his career, but could easily bypass the latter if he continues to have record-breaking seasons further into his career.
